Class topics and study tips

Enjoy and retain what you lean in your classes

I have a B.S. in Biological Sciences, and one of my focuses is to share study tips and study pitfalls, as well as class concepts, to help you succeed in your classes!

While nothing will replace the necessity of hours of studying everything from chemical reactions to strange Latin names, the way we study has a huge impact on how well we retain the information.

In addition, articles on class concepts will help you reinforce what you are learning in your classes, and perhaps give you new insights!

PLant and Animals Care information

sharing my love for other life

Love for plants and animals are what drove me to biology in the first place! I am obsessed with animals of all shapes and sizes, only a few I dislike (I wouldn’t miss mosquitoes!).

Sharing information on how to better care for the living things in your care is my second focus, and if each article helps even one person give their non-human ward better care it will be worth the effort.

inspiring you to care for you

take care of the one body and mind you have!

Let’s face it – I have not always taken the best care of myself either! Between weeks of low sleep and eating junk food before finals to struggling to maintain basic hygiene during depressed episodes, I understand how easy it is to forget your body and mind need care!

Between articles on how the human body functions and practical tips on ways to improve your life and health, my third focus is to inspire you to make self care a priority!
